Isabella Miceli is a Milano based artist from San Francisco, California. Originally a student of creative direction and fashion styling, Isabella found her love of photography while getting her master’s degree at Istituto Marangoni Milano by a welcome mistake. Each project she assumed seemed to transform the clothes, her supposed focus, into only an element within the bigger composition. The joining of these two worlds, fashion and art, brings us into Isabella’s vision.

The question of identity appears as a constant north star within her work: the question of self. Who we are in the world, and who we are to ourselves. The labels we assume, and how much we can transpose them once fastened to us. This exploration becomes a string, binding together the two personas, coming together in search of depicting a full person.
